Anord Launch New AMS Low Voltage Switchgear System

05 January 2009
Anord lead the switchgear industry with the launch of their New AMS low voltage switchgear system.
Following 2 years of researching market needs and now coinciding with the imminent release (probably February) IEC 61439 - the new standard for low-voltage switch gear and control gear assemblies, Anord launch their new AMS switchgear system in January 2009.
The design team involved in the product development are delighted to have produced a switchgear system that ticks all the boxes, in meeting the requirements of low voltage switchgear specifications across the industry spectrum. Anord is to the fore in being able to provide a comprehensive test certification portfolio that complies fully with the new IEC 61439 standards.
The AMS design is 1 of 5 switchgear manufacturer's throughout the world that can offer a natural air cooled 6300amp switchgear system with a 6300amp Incoming w/d ACB, that truly delivery 6300amps (no de-rating) in an IP31 Form 4 construction and can provide the type test certificate as proof of this capability..
Other design features of the AMS switchgear system include
| Form of Separation | Up to Form 4B - Type 7 |
| Busbar System Current Rating | 800 to 6300amp - Fully insulated busbar systems available |
| Busbar System Short Circuit Rating | 31.5 to 100kA for 1sec & 50kA for 3sec |
| Voltage Rating | 415V, 660V & 690V |
| Seismic | 2.8g horizontal, 1.5g vertical |
