Scope of Supply
In early 2008, a leading American headquartered multinational software & services corporation announced its latest data centre expansion with plans to invest $500 million in the company's first EMEA Data Centre in Ireland. Anord were employed by ABB Ireland on this prestigious project to provide 18 number high current (6300A) Package Substations, 48 UPS switchboards, 60 number large Form 4-Type 6 STS-PDU's and 90 number Remote Power Panels (RPP's). The project was successfully delivered in 3 phases and Anord played a crucial part in achieving the tight deadlines set out by the client.
