Scope of Supply
Riverside Resource Recovery is a new Energy from Waste facility at Belvedere, London. It was designed to have an annual capacity of 585,000 tonnes of waste and produce an output of 50MW. The waste is delivered using the River Thames, thus keeping 100,000 HGVs off London’s congested roads each year. Working in partnership with FSD, Anord were employed to provide the complete busduct system on this large scale EfW Facility. Anord took control of the detailed design of the power distribution system between the MV/LV transformers and the main LV switchgear, beginning on site with a detailed survey and culminating in a fully installed distribution system 10 weeks later. The package included supply, delivery, installation and testing.
