Scope of Supply

Operational since 2003, the Ringsend Wastewater Treatment Works is part of the € 400 million Dublin Bay Construction Project. The benefits include cleaner water in Dublin Bay and in the city’s rivers as well as more land being available for housing and commercial development. The plant provides preliminary primary, secondary and tertiary treatment (disinfection) for a 1.7 million, population equivalent. Due to the scale of the project and with our expertise in the sector, Anord were awarded the contract for the design, supply, and installation and commissioning of the entire suite of Motor Control Centres, providing the backbone of the power protection and plant control for what the largest Water Treatment Plant in Ireland.
